Vintage 24K GOLD PICKARD CHINA ROSE DAISY PATTERN FOOTED COMPOTE CANDY TRINKET D

Description

This is a gorgeous Pickard China,  24K yellow gold compote / candy or trinket footed dish in the Rose and Daisy pattern with a beautiful victorian scene.  The piece is so beautiful. It measures about 4" tall. The top is about 6 3/4" by 6 1/2". The top has the Rose and Daisy pattern inside it with the roses and daises etched in the 24K yellow gold. It has a scalloped design on the edges.
Pickard China was incorporated in Edgerton, Wisconsin, back in 1893, with the Wilder Austin Pickard starting the company in 1894. The company offered hand painted giftware, art glass and dinnerware. It then moved to Chicago in 1897, eventually specializing in hand painted and hand decorated dessert and tea sets. The company only used 24K yellow gold.
This piece is in beautiful condition with no chips, breaks or repairs. It is stamped Pickard China Made in the USA 311 on the bottom.
